This hand-drawn shoe collection was done for a line of tabletop and paper goods for The Met and Caspari's collaboration. When the museum approached the publishing company, wanting to turn the works of their archive into wares for entertaining, they were looking for an imaginative way to bring their shoes to the party. After approving a set of initial illustrations, the museum described the artwork as"wonderfully whimsical." The shoes were then laid out atop a hand painted ogee pattern hung from bows.
